Video’s screened at Minnesota Historical Society’s “Greatest Generation Film Project” and “68′ Film Project” between 2006 to 2010. Opening video “Best of Hard Times” awarded Best Depiction of the Era, and the audience award screening to “Miss Micky”.
“Miss Mickey – The Flyer” (Micky Axton) was one of the first three women selected for test pilots during WWII (World War II); the “Romeo’s” is about retired telephone men in MN; “Collections and Reflections” is about WWII vets in MN; and “The Best of Hard Times” is about growing up in the depression.
