Diabetes is a topic more important that you thing… This is a video intro to the Waunakee Family of Lions Clubs lighting up the city of Waunakee, in blue, to increase public awareness of diabetes and encourage participation in Operation Diabetes Blue events. The clubs have organized events throughout the month of November to increase diabetes awareness, promote prevention, provide screening, and to educate the public to take this costly disease very seriously. This is a summary of the start through the kickoff walk on Nov 1st.
