These are highlights from “Artup Weekend” in Madison – the Pianos on State Street project. The weekend was about creating art, the project was about placing pianos on State Street and turning t into pieces or art. A surprising result of the project, for me, was the many people immediately walking up to play or simply asking about the project. The video includes Glenn, a homeless person with a passion for music, that surprised us with his ability, friendliness, openness, and unifying people with music and warmth.
